Very funny manga can’t wait to read in English。 I found the persistent depictions of the hero Tanjiro protecting the weak women and girls a bit problematic。 But you(and me and other female readers) can still apply the male protagonist’s other moral principals like never giving up a fight even when you feel like you’re dying or the chance of winning seems so slim and understanding your enemy’s pain and being compassionate even to the human eating demons to your every day lives regardless of your Very funny manga can’t wait to read in English。 I found the persistent depictions of the hero Tanjiro protecting the weak women and girls a bit problematic。 But you(and me and other female readers) can still apply the male protagonist’s other moral principals like never giving up a fight even when you feel like you’re dying or the chance of winning seems so slim and understanding your enemy’s pain and being compassionate even to the human eating demons to your every day lives regardless of your gender or sexuality。 But I’m just maybe conforming and contributing to the spread of patriarchal morality。 It is also ominous that this volume ends with a new male character saying their next battles against demons will take place in “Yuukaku” which is a Japanese word for old timey brothel。highly recommend。 Five stars。 。。。more

I knew it wouldn't be that easy。 Damn, right after I thought the squad was going to have a new mentor 😭😩 That was pretty sad。 But now we slowly uncovered maybe a truth with the sun breathing?? And now the boys are all going on solo missions and they've all grown so much! 4。5 stars out of 5I admit that I have been slightly spoiled in regards to this series。 Not about the main plot points, but by the fact that a lot of characters die by the end of the series。 I don't know when they die, I just know it happens, and I am going to get emotional over it, because Gotouge knows how to write a story with side characters you care about。 Therefore, I avoided continuing the series, but still bought the majority of the volumes that have come out, because I have a problem whe 4。5 stars out of 5I admit that I have been slightly spoiled in regards to this series。 Not about the main plot points, but by the fact that a lot of characters die by the end of the series。 I don't know when they die, I just know it happens, and I am going to get emotional over it, because Gotouge knows how to write a story with side characters you care about。 Therefore, I avoided continuing the series, but still bought the majority of the volumes that have come out, because I have a problem when it comes to books。 But, I decided to bite the bullet and get caught up on the pile of manga volumes I have unread before I have to go back to work。And, yes, I cried。 Even though we did not know Rengoku very well, he was one of the Hashira who was the most supportive of Tanjiro and Nezuko, and awknowledged that Tanjiro's sister was indeed a demon slayer。 His attitude, and death work to instill a drive in Tanjiro for him to keep working in order to get to the level of Hashira, simply because he was powerless to help Rengoku in his fight against such a high level demon。 We also learned more about Flame (Sun? They use two different names for the style of sword fighting Tanjiro uses so I don't know what to call it anymore) Breathing, and how it appears to be the original breathing form, and all other forms are just extensions of it。 Rengoku's father appears to know far more about the breathing form, but has destroyed information on it, and seems to hate it。 So the mystery thickens surrounding Tanjiro's family。On to the next volume, as we ended this one with Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke going off with another Hashira on another mission。 。。。more

Post the death of Ryoukujou, our team is sent on a serious mission to hunt down this demon b***h in the brothels。 I think this had some of the funniest moments yet。 Glad Inosuke is more rational than before。Love this series!
